I got to see him perform last December I think it was in The Helix.

I was lucky enough to get to see him play a good bit as a kid, pity my sprog never will (she'd just moan anyway but still. . ).
 
The first person I ever did sound for was Ronnie Drew. He was lovely. I've seen the Dubliners 38 times (56 by the end of this year) but never with him in it. Barney Mc Kenna is the last living original member and still tours with them all year round. John Sheehan is still with them too but he didn't join for a few years after they started. RIP Ronnie.

I think the next Thumped Cover Challenge should be a Dubliners choon*. yay? nay? nothing can be as bad as that tribute shit.
