Rise of the Zines (1 Viewer)

A zine-plugging thread. Living in Galway so I don't know what zines are out at the moment or if there is any/many(?).

For two reasons:

the first is I'm doing a free sheet called 'Hangover Times' and I want people to contribute and send stuff for review (music,zines,whatever) : kollin, 29 Munster Avenue, Galway. I will also send some to people who might want to hand them out at gigs.

the second reason is that I'm in a band and I would like to send copies of our demo to zines in Ireland for review but I'm not sure what zines review music anymore.

Billy (Gannon) was setting up a Zine at one point, a couple of years ago, before he got a proper job in Landan innit. He is a nice sort of chap, (and handsome with it).

I am sure that he could give you a brief synopsis of the options and contenders are out there.
Lash off a PM to him, he might be a good person to axe questions to.

if you try eirecore you will get the attn of people who do zines such as
corm bite the hand (Corm), ed lucidity (spuded) and so on.

if you try posting on home publishing you may get the attn of others like anto loserdom (jimbojones)...

you send some freesheets for us to hand out at GZ and PorcoDio gigs too if you like kollin..
