I was in a few of them today, great to see so many people around.
Had to leave Tower cos the music was too loud for the sprog, moany git.

It was loud alright. You should get her a pair of cans. I was amazed at how many people were in there with really small children. I hope those kids were all wearing earplugs.

it was kinda weird how it panned out..different shops got different things..

today was really amazing. such a good buzz. if only it was every saturday..i was raging that i didnt get out too much to see the other shops but we were non stop in freebird.

thanks for everyone who came in and supported the indie shops...

That was fun. Got the Arthur Russel and the New Order 7" but didn't manage to get a copy of the Road Compilation - they were sold out by the time I managed to work up the courage to venture through the crowd

Neil Hannon was great, very entertaining, especially in Road where played standing on the counter

I went in at 12 just to be sure I got one of those compilations but I could see they were selling like hotcakes. Record Store Day was such good fun. Fair dues to all involved. Especially enjoyed all the bits n bobs in road, went home before Jape cos I just got tired standing..if you wanna hear our song from that compilation tis on here now dear Squiggle.
