Recommend Irish bands active at present (2 Viewers)

Could anyone recommend decent Irish bands that are currently active (i.e. have recorded new material in the past year)? I've been out of the country for four years now and realise that I'm hopelessly out of touch with what's going on at present. I don't know if many bands are playing the UK, but only the odd one seems to make it to the Midlands.

Etc were groundbreaking for their day. 'And So On' was an anthem for our generation. Not to mention 'plus more things in a similar vein'. Shivers down the spine stuff. I did think 'more examples pertaining to the list I've just given previously' was a bit watered down and commercialised.
