Dischord has perhaps inevitably suffered from the law of diminishing returns for the last 20 years, but I picked this up and it's really very good. It's still basically 90s rock, but if it ain't broke... Jay Robbins is fantastic.

Only played it a few times,but I like it. Remember though I'm a fan.

The debut album was one the first cds I bought. Played that alot. (as you do when you own 3 cds, the others were Faith No more - King for a day & Steve Morse band -southern steel (he plays with deep purple now) ) The last album I bought was one by one. I've liked some of the singles after that but couldn't muster up the interest for a full album. My loss
probably.

I think it benefits from being only 8 songs. (a lot of full lengths could benefit from that)

Igot the Foundations of Burden LP by Pallbearer there yesterday and it only has 6 songs on it and it's awesome.

The new YOB album only has 4 tracks on it. So it's twice as good as the new foo fighters!

Also got the new Big Business LP at Mastodon last week. Tis deadly

I bought a Yob CD ages ago with only a couple of songs on it and it was dreadfull.

None of those other bands do anything for me either. Especially Mastodon who plain suck.

Where did you end up getting the Pallbearer LP in the end @sleepy ? I recall there was an earlier thread about your search for a reasonably priced copy!

Picked up that Yob elpee in HMV a few weeks ago, they had it quite cheap. Really enjoying it.

Fair play to ya for remembering. I got it from Norman Records in the end. Cost €35 after. Totally worth it.

That YOB album's great. Nothing to Win's an awesome tune
