Friday 30th May

Dublin 2.

Radioactive Man will be back in Dublin on Friday the 30th of May to perform his brand new album "Growl" LIVE for the first and only time in Ireland! Expect to see some serious hardware being used as Keith Tenniswood brings his studio to the Underground. Straight from touring with his new band Black Acid, Richard Fearless will also be joining us on the night for a very special eclectic Dj set, variety and obscurity a plenty! Catch these 2 titans together for one show only at the Underground, Kennedy’s.

Keith Tenniswood aka Radioactive Man burst into the electronic music scene in the early nineties, with his first release on Phil Perry’s label that opened many doors, one of which lead him to collaborate with Andrew Weatherall. The two like minded musicians formed Two Lone Swordsman and have remixed for a huge array of artists such as Primal Scream, Spiritualized, Howie B, David Holmes to name but a few.

In 1997, after working co producing David Holmes award winning album 'Lets Get Killed, Radioactive Man was ready to launch himself into the limelight, with his self titled LP which suddenly turned Radioactive Man into a electronica household name.

There has been much anticipation for the release of his newest album ‘Growl’, which has been described as ‘a stunning collection of timeless tracks that break, shake and quake with funk and character’. Radioactive Man has been a welcomed visitor to our shores in the past and he is sure not to disappoint.

Support on the night, will come in the form of none other than Richard Fearless from Death in Vegas Fame. Now performing and just finished touring his new band Black Acid. Expect all the hedonism of a Death in Vegas Show, as Richard Fearless takes control of the decks for his first solo Irish appearance for quite sometime.

Yeah for Radioactiveman but booooooooooooooooooo for Richard Fearless. He's an unbelievably shit dj and belongs on a bill with someone like Mani not Keith Tenniswood!!!!!

Anyone else heard "Growl" yet? My expectations weren't that high but it's pretty darn good!

Yeah - it's typical Tenniswood and a continuation of the last two albums - so really good.
I can see it getting lost though cos electro (particularly that 'sarf landan' style) is so unfashionable these days.

Probably true unfortunately. There's lot of deadly electro about at the moment but shitty electro house and minimal is dominant in the clubs. When was the last time Electric City put on an electro act?? They had some great acts when they started.

I'm unfeasibly (and visibly) excited about this.

saw rf dj a couple of times (about 7/8 yrs ago) and he played great electro/techno sets.. maybe not technically the best (def able to mix though) but really good track selection. dunno what he's like now though.....

He usually plays some good tunes (as shown on the Heavenly Social mix) but the last time i saw him he was letting records run out, attempting to mix tunes but making such a balls of it that he's start all over again. Real car crash stuff!!
