Is there a website whereby you can send text messages to mobile phones on irish networks?

if you register on vodafones website you get 300 free text messages a month . that is assuming you have a vodafone phone , of course .

think you may need to check your network provider's website... i know rhona used the vodafone site to send out messages about gigs and that. try them?

I'm on O2, which seems to offer a similar service to Vodaphone.

I thought there might be a site that you can register with that allows free-for-all texting, but maybe that is no longer possible.

O2 gives you 250 free web texts per month....

there used to be back end services where you could set up a web app for texting on your site and then some other company would look after the routing - but they used to stick big fuck off adverts at the end of every message. usually, the advert was longer than the message.

if you get icq that gives you unlimited texts to phones all over the world. and its free. www.icq.co.uk i think. sometimes the texts dont get there till 6am, and sometimes they dont at all. but a lot of the time they do.
