nothing beats a good feed in a pub some days.

where's your favourite place for pub grub? anywhere in ireland. there's one place in roundstone the name of which escapes me, but i recall it being bleedin delicious - soups, sandwiches, roaring fire.

Dinn Ri in Carlow does great carvery lunches. Really good food and decent value too.

Stoop Yr Heads in Skerries is great too, Seafood Chowder and Guiness ist yum

I did in Glasgow last year, it was meant to be the pinnacle of my crisps enjoying life but never have I felt such disapointment. They are fucking disgusting, they taste like a weird cold cream cheese wrapped in a brittle crisp shell nothing like the majesty of Bacon or Scampi fries.

the gin palace does an amazing tapas platter, buckets of food for two for 20 quids

more importantly where gives free nibbles when eating?
on our last night in rome we all met up in a bar in trastevere, with free food at the bar, mostly tiny nibbles but also a massive bowl of rigatoni, that everyone was happily getting stuffed on. does the long hall not do that?
