I know, I know. I just don't get the Carpenter thing. I like some of his films well enough and recognise the music is pretty good too but it just never struck me as something to get particularly excited about. I'm glad I went though because it was really was great.

also, you really shoulda gone to baobab. highest recommendation. next time...

Babes In Toyland were really bad there last year. Had to abandon their gig because someone broke a string and they had no spares.

Baobab - yeah, I have some regret about that. I think Jehu were on at the same time. On a similar note I skipped Mbongwana Star because LCD were on at the same time as their set. The Africans got short shrift from me this year.
