Hoi Hoi
Seein' as there was a scurrilous suggestion in the census thread that there is a lot of PR folk on here I was looking for some general advice:
My company want to hire a PR type person to plug their projects related to the built environment-town planning stuff, transport planning, cycling strategies etc. probably looking to get into trade publications, provincial newpapers and maybe a small bit of interweb and general broadcast media.
We are all too busy to do our own promo/press releases /project sheets etc and I stupidly volunteered to check out how this PR/marketing malarkey works.
I am familiar with the small trader/one man operations in the music biz who plug stuff but how does it work inthe real world?
I would imagine my employers would be relatively small fry in the wider PR scheme of things and the kind of project envisaged would suit a small company...
If anyone wants to pitch for the account (which will be small enough I would guess) PM and I will get in touch...
32 county knowledge an advantage as we have a Belfast office also.
Any advice welcome..
