Does anyone have a portable DAT machine I could borrow/rent for a day?
I have a recording of my brothers old band that I wanted to digitise as a chrimbo present, but the dat won't playback properly on my deck.
The original deck wasn't aligned properly, so I'm getting lots of dropouts, that and DAT was a crap format.
The portable recorders/players are much more forgiving of playback problems, there's a few on ebay, but if someone has one I could borrow or rent that would be great....
