I can think of 2 (one is dubious but still)

There's a whole world of You're much too young girl, you better run girl rock'n'roll songs reaching to at least the mid 80's that didn't seem to cause much controversy.


Although if you read some of the NME interviews and editorials from punk onwards they were pretty tough on some people. There's an entire interview where someone (possibly Paul Morley) drags Adam Ant over the coals cos he wrote some songs about bondage and therefore WAS A SEXIST MONSTER. I'll have to see if i can dig that one up.
