The Pine hill Haints and Can Kickers return to Ireland again. If any of you saw them the last time you'll remember how insane their gigs are and how catchy the music is.
So far the tour is panning out like follows
Saturday Oct 2nd Cork, appearing on sattitude, busking on the streets of the city at lunchtime, then an instore at the House of Music in the city on Camden Quay about 4ish and then Lee Valley Inn, Dripsey for the evening
Sunday Oct 3rd Cork City,The Cruiscin Lan also Innishannon, afternoon gig (squat in the middle of nowhere(on the road to bandon from cork city))
Monday Oct 4th Dublin City , (natalia's birthday party.)
Tuesday Oct 5th fringe festival, Dublin City
Wednesday Oct 6th Belfast City
Thursday Oct 7th Letterkenny, (not confirmed)
Friday Oct 8th Galway
Sunday Oct 9th Leitrim
Monday Oct 10th Kilcoole, Co Wicklow
Tuesday Oct 11th Ballymoreustice (not confirmed)
Wednesday Oct 12 Dublin city plus an early gig in Greystones
The dates are a bit mixed up there near the end but if anyone can shed full light on those dates please do, I'm looking after the Cork end of things
The Pine Hill Haints play a style of country music that predates the term country, and although it's essentially 1920s vintage, the sound predates recordings. The band consists of guitar, washtub bass, snare drum, washboard, and a bowed saw. Some mp3's of their music can be linked to below
