Thank you very much! That's actually a great fishing spot near kalbarri in WA where "king waves" kill a few people a year while they're trying to fish it. I'm quite afraid of water and the place freaked the hell out of me.

it's pictures from fieldwork in reverse order for some reason...graffiti in the 'airport' (see shack in last picture), lava in base of vent,walking round the craters, helicopter dropping equipment in caldera, loading helicopter, kids hanging around to see the plane come in and helicopter take off

good idea, jraz! 2010 (and particularly the latter part of it) has been a turning point for me; have finally achieved a long-held photography dream and am excited to see where it takes me. very much looking fw to seeing others' 2010 work.
