Pay Pal fraud (1 Viewer)

Just found out that some DICKHEAD phished my paylpal account and paid himself £250. its already been taken off my credit card etc.

they've frozen my account and are "looking into it" , but wont refund the money yet, even though they know a third party accessed the account.

anyone been stung like this before? ???

No, i got me 'stang yest and its sooo sweet.

seems to have happened after that transaction. they say theyre "on it" and it will be resolved within 10 days, but the moneys still sittin there on me credit card.

i mean youre supposed to think that paypal is safe, right?

this guy got in there and had a good root about, changed email addresses , had a dispute with himself and resolved it, endin with him payin himself for a mobile phone or something.

dont get me started on the pay pal customer "care" phone line. ........

Did you get on to your bank about it? Be prepared for them trying to weasel out of it though.
