well we were thinking of starting at the scholars, moving on to stables, then the lodge, doing an all ages show at superquinn, before venturing as far as the hurlers.

i can't remember the difference between the stables and the scholars but one was totally ibiza uncovered and hte other was a little more chill.

its the "little more chill " one. its not gonna be on in the bar itself, but in the room that was formerly known as the function room but is now called An Phluais(sic??). Should be nice for the students to unwind prior to exams and all and in a seperate room to the general student shennanigans of the bar

well watch out for the following when youre in limerick:

1) Some guy trying to run you over (3 attempts) with his car while your q'ing at a petrol station
2) bald ,bouncer-sized guys punching walls beside their girlfriends face, and then saying 'Just keep fukin walking. Im fukin tellin ya. ye don't want to be fukkin wit me' to you when you try and intervene.
3) lots of kids who cant drive properly doing drunk skids until 5am on ther road behind your house
4) group of lads following you with hurleys up dark alleys. and then stopping and pretending to be having a midnight chat when other people enter the alley.
5) hanging around with Bullets for a year

The weird thing is i'm not from limerick, either is Albert, Richard or Dave which sometimes throws the whole limerick label thing out the window!

in relation to the guy about to beat the girl, i have a similar story from this xmas. a guy was giving guff to a girl outside a club and we told the bouncer to get the cops as he looked like a bit of a fruitcake. then some other girl who was walking by gave myself and my friend guff for giving out to your man for giving his girlie shit. this girl then challenged us to a fight for no reason whatsoever. anyway we left, but a few mins later we heard that your man did indeed hit the girl and the cops did come etc. jesus, that was some crazy shit altogether.

I always thought limerick was fine till the dude punched through a 2-inch-thick plate glass window straight beside me after fugazi, i had to have splinters picked out of my hair, but it was only an hour or so after ian mckaye gave me a hug and said i was his buddy, so nothing could really stop the world being a beautiful place.
