FOREVER Presents
OUR BROTHER THE NATIVE
plus special guests
Sep. 28th, 2008
Crawdaddy, Dublin
Tickets from: €13.00 inc booking fee
Doors: 7.30pm, Over 18's.
Available from: www.tickets.ie and www.ticketmaster.ie (this Friday)
Our Brother The Native are three young Americans who have been working together as a unit since 2005, and whom FatCat stumbled upon towards the end of 2005. Having checked out a link to their site on Myspace.com, and instantly liking what they heard, Fat Cat Records got in touch with the band and the debut they were currently writing just fell into their laps.
Their latest album on Fat Cat is " Make Ammends, For We Are Merely Vessels". Their first album for the label was 2006's 'Tooth And Claw".
"This is a beautifully and earnest record, the songs successful and alive in their youthful melancholy."
Rock-a-Rolla, Scott McKeating-
"It is this kind of beauty versus beast dichotomy that sets these three lads from California and Michigan apart from other post-rock outfits."
Subba-culta, David Samuel
The band also play:
Belfast, Limelight, Sep 27th and Galway, Roisin Dubh, Sep 29th.
