Back to old Dublin venues.... we played in Jack Nealon's, formerly The Earl Grattan, last week. They've "improved" the upstairs. In fairness they probably did it about 20 years ago.

Fucking hotels. Isn't that what they're doing with the space in Newmarket sq as well? What are all these tourists staying in these hotels going to see and do while here? Check out other hotels?

they are knocking a laundrette in galway to build 1 of 3 new hotels.

its clearly a plan to bring americans to see the great unwashed in the west.

actually the 'improvements' in jack nealons have disimproved in the past few years. thats how long since it was 'improved'.

pretty soon it will be time to 'improve' it yet again - and the cycle will continue
