An Introduction:

This our magazine, there are many like it, but this one is our own…

Oh, Francis is a cultural orgy of fashion, art, music and fun. We don’t want to cast judgment, we want to inspire. Our emphasis is on visual and the written word. We’ve got a nice little collection of stories, poems, illustration, photography and a few rants thrown in for good measure. We want to show off the talent we know, and the talent we’ve come to know. Having lived and studied in Dublin we’ve experienced a plethora of culture saturating our eyes and ears. Our humble magazine will share our findings; all the things that make us go oooh aaaah yeah, nice.

Our first issue is being launched on the 28th of January upstairs in Whelans. We’ve got New Amusement, Land Lovers and Autumn Owls playing the music with Mardiva playing afterwards. It should be a good night and well worth the 8 euros, which we need to fund our non-profit magazine. We haven’t sought advertising for the magazine, not because we’re anti-capitalists or any of that malarkey, but we’re doing this in our spare time and would rather concentrate on the quality of our lovely mag. We will upload the magazine each season on our site ohfrancis.com and we will distribute it around the city for free hopefully.

We hope you will enjoy Oh, Francis and come back for more..

yes 8 yoyos will work.. but if you dont collect them it could
cost more to get in!..

and the email doesnt really matter cause its a temp one for the moment til we get the online account setup.. thanks for the advice though..

peace out

Also, if somebody brings along 8 yoyos (see below) as opposed to hard currency, does that mean they get in?

I broke my dad's watch when I was 3 with a coca cola yoyo like that. It was given to him by his mum who had died when I wrecked it. Yoyo's were banned in our house for years after that!I think till I was in college....
