I found this book when cleaning up. I think it's from 1959 or early 1960s.
Some quotes,
On Dublin Airport
"Dublin Airport at Collinstown in north County Dublin, about 5 and a half miles from the city centre, is regarded as one of the best equipped airports in Western Europe. The finely designed terminal building, with observation platforms, attracts many visitors."
On Clubbing
"The leading ballrooms are the Shelbourne, Gresham, and Metropole. Less formal venues include Clery's, O'Connell St., Crystal, South Anne St., Four Provinces, Harcourt St., National, Parnell Square, and the Olympia, Pleasants St.
On Cinemas
"Leading first-run cinemas in city centre are: Savoy, Carlton, Capitol, Metropole, Adelphi and Ambassador all in O'Connell St. or its immediate vicinity. The Corinthian and Astor (Eden Quay) specialise in Continental films. "
I think I'll do a tour of Dublin using this guidebook.
