O'Death - Whelans September 25th (2 Viewers)

That was the fourth time i've seen them and although they were excellent the crowd was dead as fuck, nothing like the other three gigs in Whelans. Most of the small turn out seemed to be either tourists or there for the support act.

that was the first time I missed them (I was at the last 3 gigs). They're great but I couldn't go last night.

The new stuff sounds a but mad in comparison to the first 2 albums. Mad, but good. It doesn't sound like the kind of stuff the bass player would be taking off his top to, or the drummer would be rattling chains off his drums for.

No chains last night and the bass player kept his shirt on for the first time! New album is much mellower than the other two but it's a definite grower.

First time seeing them. Perhaps crowds have been more energised in the past but thought it was excellent. Not surprised at the poor turnout really, bit of a logjam of gigs at the minute and people are always going to save it up for closer to the weekend.
