Rightio. I'll start with this so. A bit Japonised. Sorry. It would have had Taste by Rob Crow and a song off the new Pokett except they aren't out yet. It has, in no particular order:
Cornelius - Cue from the Breezin EP
Deloris - Everything Ever from 10 Lives
Eddie Marcon - Sayonara from the LP called something like Blue Leg Sound
The Lodger - Let Her Go 7"
Happy End - Kaze O Atsumete which is mad old
Si Schroeder - Elaine's Porsche
Deerhoof - I Believe ESP
Thom Yorke - Harrowdown Hill
Nishioka Takashi - Hitori No Onna from Mannen No Ki from 1971 or so
Nikaidoh Kazumi - Yori from her recent LP

same thing happened with devendra bernhardt, when people start believing they are shamanic geniuses they lose whatever made them good in the first place.. none of the songs on milk eyed mender are seventeen minutes long.. they have an innocence and charm which is replaced with bombastical annoyance on the new record.. so ha yerself..

In Beta-Alphical order
in various formats
(plenty of forget-me's not in here with the forget-me-nots)

weird that I can remember the records better than the cds even
though I have a broken needle and am listening to my cds far more

That be van dyke parks! I've only listened to it once but I'm not dying to go back although I'll give it a chance. DB is a bit of a yawn at this stage now as well. Although check out Bat for Lashes for some starry eyed folk wonderment. Wizard is a top song!
