How do you think MCD can afford to pay support acts too? Don't you know how tight their margins are?

Did you miss the bit where MCD explained that the reason the nick Cave concerts were so expensive was because Nick was asking for so much money, and nothing at all to do with the amount they reckon they can add on for themselves?
What does playing for MCD "by default" mean?
Does it mean another band who wer doing an MCD gig asked you to support? If that was the case your contract most likely existed between you and the other band, and it would have been up to them how much to pay you and what to include as a rider.
You did better than most, for sure.

actually yes another band pulled out and put our names (very kindly and thoughtfully might i add) into the hat and it was fun. i think what ronan really was trying to say was that i wasnt there when he was a kid so he blames me for that and i never even liked butter cause it made al gag even when it was covered in mayonaise
