NEW TRAIL OF DEAD ALBUM (1 Viewer)

Car accident? Not too sure. Not as gruesome as Cliff Burton's untimely demise I don't think..

It's not really 'Sonic Youth / Nirvana in the Top Hat' now is it?

hopefully pinback will be here in the autumn

i saw them the other night and much as i love that last record of theirs they were very disappointing, so don't get your hopes up. whatever it is they do in the studio they can't seem do anything approaching it on stage. it actually made me start to doubt whether the album was really that good at all, hearing the songs in that context. they made it all sound painfully ordinary.

pinback live was one of the best gigs i've ever seen

well i dunno, i'll take your word for it that they can do a lot better than what i saw, but in that case i don't know what the fuck was going on with them the other night.

I concur.

pat and i both saw them in chicago.
they were bleedin amazing.
played everything about twice as fast, but the songs still came through.
just more energy.
it was in august so it was the first time i'd heard the bulk of the Blue Screen Life material. they stood out straight away + stuck in my memory.

i'm pretty sure dudley saw them in london (?)

a friend of mine saw them in NY durin the summer.
zack was havin technical problems with his bass, so rob crow + the drummer played a load of thingy songs.
i wish i'd been there...
where'd you both see them?
