ok i've had this conversation many a time in the pub - is a large hoegaarden the same as a pint?

apparently so but ive never poured one into the other

i'd had this conversation many times too, and the answer seems to be that on average a large hoegaarden is indeed more than a pint.
[there's usually a mark on the glass that they're sposed to fill it up to, to make it a pint and the rest should be head - like in that pic, but they tend to fill it right up with very little head, and since it's a wide glass the extra volume of beer pushes it well over the pint mark - so yeah, good beer _and_ good value for money]


so anyways, vices? i don't think i have any anymore - not since i re-classified caffeine, nicoteine & alcohol as 'reasons for getting up in the morning' instead of vices...
