"Nadja is the duo of aidan Baker and Leah Buckareff from Toronto,
Canada. Ever since their inception, Nadja have been quite prolific
within experimental music scenes, and quickly gaining a reputation
with their solidified sound, which unearths itself as intense and
moving ambient drone doom metal, combining ambient electronics and
fragmentary vocals with snail-crawl riffs and dirge-like percussion,
all tempered with a certain ethereal melodicism such that the listener
is enveloped in a swirling, sublimating wall of amorphous, cacophonous
sound."

ALTAR OF PLAGUES

"Already with a few notable self-released demos/EP's within their
repertoire, along with serving opening acts for Mayhem and Wolves In
The Throne Room on recent European stints, Altar Of Plagues are
gaining a formidable reputation through their distinct brand of epic,
cinematic and violently crafted avant-black metal. By incorporating a
vision that correlates and reflects with the musical aesthetic of
their aforementioned tour mates with moments that give the nod to the
vicious leanings of melodic epic black metal along with the
catastrophic leanings of such acts as Neurosis, and Cult Of Luna,
Altar Of Plagues have created a monumental vision, one that's scathing
and visceral, yet moving and transcendent."
First show since announcing signing to Profound Lore and also first show with new line-up.

Sludgy Psychadelic Rock wizards from Stab City. Released their excellent
'Wizards of the Coast' 12" earlier this year. To date have shared
stages with Comets on Fire, Sunn O))) , Dead Meadow, The Redneck
Manifesto, Chris Corsano and more......

Wölflinge (Vicky Langan solo performance)

"Having shared a stage howling and yelping with both Phil Minton's Feral Choir and Weirding Vessel at the previous two Color Out of Space festivals in Brighton, guesting with Quiet Club back home in Ireland as well as nursing own projects with Female Orphan Asylum, United Bible Studies, Eachtra, Mahood Sings, and most recently a collaberation with Vomit Nest; Wölflinge has been hailed as "Corks First-Lady in Improv". Vicky will be armed with self-built 'Special Noise Unit' designed by Berlin nased engineer Jo Frgmnt (http://tob.de.vu/) and a fetal listening device which is used as an intimate gesture, amplifying heartbeat and on occasion, the body's secret groans and stirrings"

defo! missed Vicky last time around and so excited to see Altar of plagues again.Going to be a legend band in the future.

ye goin?! Whiskey is tiny..not sure how we'll all get in...especially with Skippy there too.

Will you be havin a distro of any sort at this? There's some stuff I'd like to get off you if still have them...

Don't mind Jenny...she just drunk on the net again....i can bring stuff in for you alright, no room for distro there.
I've to update webstore tonight...Disclose 7inchs and other stuff...

...was just about to get to that point. I really like small venues. Makes a gig so much better. Gonna be chaos in The Whiskey all right though!

My bedroom is nearly bigger than it...

This Friday.
First band at 9:10.
Be sure to get there early as the Whiskey has a limited capacity.

sounds good in the jam room anyway. Making more noise then ever with a smaller line-up. As for how its going to sound live, I suppose we will see on Friday.
