they're fucking chancers. i could pick any 5 gimps from around here, hand them guitars and some pedals, turn up the volume and i guarantee they'd come up with infinitely better 'noise'. they're tired fucking rip-off merchants, it's like they discovered MBV last summer or something. loud does not equal good of course, but you knew that. and they're fucking pricks! pricks pricks pricks. they did one good song, the one before they left the stage for the first time but that was it, and i think that was probably their dancefloor hit anyways. my fucking ears are ringing and it wasn't even good. i want to kill them. they are so shit. you get the idea.

i went to see mogwai cos i wanted to see the whole quite loud thing like on Young Team and thats what i got with the added bonus of some noise. its bad to go and see a band for something that they never can be..(i wipe a tear from my eye)... i mean god love them theyre from scotland

I thought they were good, the loudness got annoying twice - the last tune was a bit wankish for the last 4 mins and the song that made David Gray's ears bleed last time was just Loud.

Apart from that, I thought they were really good. 'Mogwai far Satan' and the Jewish Hym were my favouries. I'm sad they didnt play ex-cowboy or tracy though.

well, you're kinda missing the point, if i actually have one. i learned at the gig that they hade a loss of £35,000 on their UK and Irish tour. They brought their own caterer and other stuff that's just for pricks. i saw them a couple of years ago in whelans where they played stuff that sounded like a mix between MBV and slint, and it was like ... uhhh, i gues it's better than just sitting in a pub. but this time, well to be honest, i was kinda angry yesterday morning because my ears were ringing, i could have left etc. but me mates were there but like, they were completely shit. just bland stupid fucking noise with no imagination, just volume. and that comment they made about u2 and sony is only one of a long long list of wankerisms that seem to spout from them freely. so, what to do now ... not go to mogwai ever again and if i meet them on the street, i like spit in the faces because they hurt my ears and they weren't even good. and you're full of shit anyways. ;p

probably bigger pricks. made loads of funny jokes about 'top of the morning' etc. ALL their songs sounded the same except the last one which just sounded different - it seemed to be their 'hit' which all the pricks knew. so many fucking pricks in the same place at the same time.
