i was a huuuuuge mogwai fan in my day, but really, the facts must be acknowledged:

young team: best album.

ten rapid: has 'helicon 1' on it. which is the best song. still.

cody: mediocre.

rock action: same.

my father, my king: sounds like a garage band trying to sound like mogwai. which can't be good.

don't even get me started on 'kicking a dead pig'.

also, there's all their 'm.c.d. are so wonderful' antics, which annoyed me far more than any shitty records they've made.

me? i don't get annoyed by nothing.

for me, cody is their best. it's good to put on with the lights out and lying on the couch. rock action made me want to vomit when i got it and young team is very so-so. sounds like das madman. urgh. infact, much of young team reminds me of u2.

still, fair play to them. they're not terribly versitile or handsome, but they's doing loud music that science students can get into.

new will oldham rekkid is good buh. i'll give whomever can tell me how i got to that a kiss.

when i saw them in the olympia touring rock action i thought they were absolutely amazing
they have a new song called 'star wars'

never really got attached to any of the proper albums although they all have some class tunes. ten rapid, xmas steps and the stanley kubrik ep are my faves.
