Minor Pleasures (12 Viewers)

I politely encouraged my boyfriend to have a clear out. He’s gotten rid of about 100 figures and still has twice that amount. There’s good money in transformers apparently, but helps that he keeps the boxes.
I’m sticking to a “1 in, 1 out” rule. The number of Lego kits are a bit overwhelming.

Is he selling them on eBay? I'm trying to work out the best way of doing it, preferably without having to come into contact with other people

He’s friends with some people that have shops selling them. He could have gotten more on eBay as they’re in good condition with boxes and all, but this was a hell of a lot easier.
He had about 100 more pieces to go, so is getting my daughter to sell them on eBay for 25% of whatever they go for. It’s mainly Japanese stuff left, so hopefully people look at what else is for sale and pick up a few bits.

I made the decision years ago that music was my thing. So glad I did as it's become overwhelming enough ( although nothing would have been the b st overall decision as far as amassing crap). I'd hate to think what it would be like with toys etc too.

NOOOOO! Irish mate who does this stuff specialises in transformers.

It turns out a couple of my old toys are worth big money, the Tusken Raider goes for about 300 and the R2d2 with popup light saber goes for 300+

Never throw anything away
Just used this and added the toys I know are in a box at home. Already up to 800 dollars. There are other figures and toys too.

Reckon I'll buy a whole bunch of new toys with the proceeds.

I brought a ukulele down to a trad session in Dingle last night and sat in and played along. My first time doing this, had to walk by the pub a few times to work up the courage. Got on grand, was a bit of fun - lots of people talking Irish too and I even understood a lot of it somehow.

Met a beautiful woman for a swim at 5:15am and we swam til sunrise in water that was surprisingly warm (or not cold)
Talked about our lives and biked over to a running track and we ran drills with a running crew.
Chatted with some cool people about running and the races this autumn.

Got a ton of lovely messages from people who were happy with an event I co-led yesterday

A super-famous (in my world) Instgrammer said something really nice to me. While this shouldn't matter a whit, it was nice.

Life is good. And remains good.
