I bought a new kettle this evening. Quite pleased about it actually.

I put our kettle on the other day, forgot about it and went back some while later to find it had boiled dry and the plastic parts were melting. I imagine this is one of those warning signs for Alzheimers that I should probably keep an eye on.

This will eventually happen to everyone with a stove top kettle and no whistle.

Get an electric one. They're cheap. And they knock off all automatically like.
