Subway platform this morning,
This old black guy was playing blues guitar so beautiful that I took my headphones out and closed my eyes. He was singing about love and rain, men and women. A woman was a little bit down on the platform, singing intermittent 'Amen's and 'Yes's.
It was so good that I considered skipping a train, but I was too late.
When my train came, big shot that I am, I pulled out a dollar for his guitar case. He didn't notice me, he had turned and scooped up every bill in his case for a homeless guy with a bag of cans, shoved it into his hand and said "You're my brother, man"

Real kindness is a really beautiful thing.

I been up in the woods looking to spot the woodpeckers the last two days.
