MiniKorg 700 - ANALOGUE SYNTH FROM '74 - €350
-------------------------------------------------------------
I'm selling my MiniKorg 700 for €350.
The MiniKorg 700 was the first synthesizer released by Korg. In 1973 Minimoogs, and ARP Odysseys were available, and the Keio ORGan company produce a little synthesiser with the most unorthodox controls imaginable, calling it the MiniKORG 700, which back then cost around £150-£160 Pounds, which was quite a hefty sum in those days. It really has a great sound, and I beleive is considered as quite rare nowadays.
Here's a video of one in action, this is not mine by the way:
Specifications
# Polyphony - Monophonic
# Oscillators - 1 VCO (sawtooth triangle, square)
# LFO - Yes
# Effects - 3 Ring modulators, Portamento, auto-bender, Vibrato, Repeat, Chorus, Noise
# Filter - High-pass and Low-pass filters
# Keyboard - 37 keys"
It has been used by The Cure, ComaTeens, Kitaro, Human League, N-Trance, Vangelis, the Normal, Stevie Wonder, The Cars and Paul Hardcastle.
-------------
Condition:
-------------
It's in good working order but does need a fix. The repeat effect seems to trigger every 3 seconds or so. So when you hold down a key the sound gets interrupted for a millisecond every 3 seconds. I'm sure this is a simple fix, but I have never gotten around to fixing it. All other functions work well. There are also a few knobs missing as well as some small dents and scratches.
Drop over and try it out! It sounds very sweet.
