Having just releaed the finest debut album of the year so far (Watersports on Touch and Go records), San Francisco's Mi Ami make their Dublin debut with a saturday night show in Crawdaddy on may 9th. Their Drum driven Afro pop style Bass loops, Drenched with Screeeching Vocals and Guitars, continue the journey in dance party punk that Black Eye's (of which the two founding members of Mi Ami were members) began.

WHAT!? I guess ATP and Villagers the same night didn't help, I would have been totally there if I hadn't been in London. Pitty about the attendance.

No, that was in Galway.

I'm sure there were more folks than that at the Dublin one, otherwise that really would be quite worrying.
