When need be, she was an exemplary Karen type person, she saved us a bunch of money by firmly but politely bullying customer service staff over the phone during lockdown. Which I wouldn't have had the bandwidth to deal with.

But she works in customer service, and her behaviour or lack of empathy never squared with me. I didn't see that initially, or I thought she'd mature a bit, but she didn't, and that was the end of that.
