A year on from the release The Dudley Corporation’s fourth album Everyone Does Everything Wrong the band are playing a one-off headliner in The Workman’s Club, Dublin on Saturday, May 31st 2014.

Though work and family commitments have curtailed any heavy gigging behind the release of their last batch of songs, the boys have been writing like the clappers and have more than enough material for a new album. The plan is to get recording in the coming months.

Firstly, these tunes need airing. Combining the grittier style of more recent Corpo compositions with the angular and pink-ass twee shite of their earlier stuff, this new material sees Mark and Dudley swap instruments for a few numbers, and Joss work blast beats and Kate Bush style rumbles into songs at really inappropriate times. It’s all gold, though.

ok so you've had, what, a year to prepare for this. So there better not be any crap like not having time to finish your set because the first band went on late because someone left their floor tom in the taxi and someone couldn't leave the house until the coal man had been then the run ons couldn't get their amps out of the rehearsal room because yer man lent the key to his mate and he lost it and so on and on and on. I expect a slick show of Eurovision degrees.
