Bayern reappoint Hitzfeld after sacking Magath

BERLIN, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich sacked coach Felix Magath and replaced him with former boss Ottmar Hitzfeld in a shock move on Wednesday.

was hoping he would go back to dortmund..but they appointed juergen roeber instead.

Munich will be a very different team under hitzfeld...this guy is pure class.
they have a real chance of european success again...they never stood a chance with magath

he took a break from football for a while...he won it all with Bayern first time round but it sort of petered out in his last year (which in bayern terms means 'didnt win the league'..auld rummenige and der kaiser are demanding taskmasters)

they forgave him for not winning the bundesliga in 1-02 (come on the dortmund) as he had just won the champions league (making him only the second manager to win the champions league twice...have no idea who the first person to do this was)
