we played a tune of yours in practice last night, leigh![]()
I didn't mean to imply that your voice is lacking in melodious qualities, or that you play out of tune... but it's a fact that it did start raining when the Bastard Rain took to the stage.
you should have been at our first gig last summer (07), it rained for weeks afterwards.....

LPX
LPX is Kildare man Leigh O’Gorman who specialises in brooding punk infused experimental electronica, as previously heard on three highly recommended releases - Seventeen, Experiments in Dub and HiFi and Easy Music for Difficult Ears.
This new EP, Fashion; Not Fashion, is LPX's first release with the net label Drunken Lust Records and will be "surrounded" by his first Irish shows in nearly a year (two of them, infact!!).
On LPX releases, Leigh provides the (occasional) vocals, while also performing all the instrumentation.
In a live situation, he prefers to use Reason 3, Pro Tools along with piano's, guitars, percussion and anything else he can get his hands on to get his sound across.

Brian Cullen's Love Bullets
Brian Cullen's Love Bullets are a Dublin based three piece who play loud music, sometimes too loud.
They have just released their second EP called Bring Out Your Dead on November 21st where the band will be showcased a new set on the night with 6 new songs which highlight the bands darker new sound.
The Bastard Rain
Discopip brunton in the corner, banging things with sticks and pressin buttons, the ag man coming out of the shaddows playin licks enigmaticly, and johnny raz howling like a stuck pig and waving his maraccas arround.
Its something to do anyway.
Drunken Lust Records
DLR is a collective of sorts, aiming to get good music to appreciative ears at the least cost to the earholder, by means of free downloads of complete releases.

LPX "Fashion; Not Fashion"
LPX is Kildare man Leigh O’Gorman who has been based in London for the past year. He specialises in dark punk infused experimental electronica and provides the occasional vocals, while also performing all the instrumentation. This release follows three critically acclaimed EP’s in recent times, but is his first with the new internet label Drunken Lust Records.
The EP contains three brooding industrial tunes, which to be honest took me a few listens to actually appreciate the tracks. They are by no means club floor fillers but the dark industrial sound created here is definitely something endearing. The EP for me is his best release to date and is available as a free download here.
LPX will be launching Fashion; Not Fashion at the Pavilion in Cork on Thursday November 27th and in the Boom Boom Room, Dublin on Friday November 28th
conga conga conga conga conga conga!MORRISSEY MORRISSEY MORRISSEY!
That was such a fun night. Such a pity there wasn't a better turn out.
