I reckon doran's is a pretty good venue though - especially given the realistic choice any independant promoter in this city has - hub, dorans, voodoo, lower deck - and that's it. In terms of actually getting to see the band, it kicks the ass off the other 3. Plus it's really central. I have an auld soft spot for it from the days when it was the rock garden, never really gotten the whole hating on it thing at all.

Well why I would say the venue is a shit place
1) Bouncers are bouncers
2) They don't always have cider
3) U get kicked out on the button
and where do u get the idea it kicks the otehr venues.....In My Opinion (IMO) you cannot beat a gig where the band are eye to eye level with the crowd so I would have to pick Bohs or The Lower Deck.....as much as I lambast the Voodoo even that is a more preferred venue.

Also lol at name of band, if any of us said that we would be castrated by the feminists of these boards ;/
