Friday November 08:

hosted by The Dudley Corporation

Yep, Dublin rock kids The Dudley Corporation are taking over Savage Banter this week. Expect all sorts of musics from Dud, Chocolate, Kim P and Pip. The Corpo are a much loved Dublin based outfit who've spent recent months touring America and Europe. They can either rock like muthas or slip into one of their posh acoustic sets. Check out their debut album The Lonely World of the Dudley Corporation and keep an eye out for numerous upcoming seven inches and what not.

savage banter - it's good to talk, it's better to banter

From what?

If you could get banned for that sort of comment, there'd be nobody left here.

Like that crow story - if that does show up on No Disco, they'll probably be approached by the RSPCA. I mean, crows just don't DO that. They'd have to be drugged or summat

Now I really have to know, what is the crow story
somebody please enlighten me!

Basically they were driving back from cork and they took a crow for a drive and got it all on video too. It really was a lovely story, but it made me think of the Crowman in Worzel Gummidge who made me very uneasy.
He was a mean man.

My granny used to throw big lumps of meat and bones
out on the green across the road from where she lived,
for her two alsatians,
but when the dogs weren't around the green
was filled with huge crows hacking into the bones
and tearing of lumps of meat,
then my granny used to send myself and
my equally petrified cousin over to play on this green.
