Hi all -

More bird droppings - just to update y'all about what's happening down at the Lazybird club for October -

7th - Rodrigo Y Gabriella - (w/DJ's Richie & Mattie from TRM) -
This has to be one of the best events we're likely to have all year - Rodrigo and Gabriella are from Mexico and play hot and cool flamenco-styled classical guitar like no-one else around right now - you might even get to hear a Metallica cover if you're good. Amply backed up by some righteous tunes courtesy of Richie Y Matty.

14th - Jimmy Behan (w/DJ's Mossy and Gerry O' Boyle)
Jimmy's doing some live & laid-back electronica for us that Sunday which should be cool - check the mucho diggable evidence on the Road relish split 7" with the C40 and his EP on Kin Recordings.

21st - EITHER Paper Cop OR Donnacha Costello (live set) -(w/DJ's Montezuma and Wheels)
This is TBC as of now...stay tuned to this egg channel....

28th - Rollers/Sparkers - (w/DJ's Andy (Estel) and Don Rosco (Bassbin))
..concocting some tasty sampled spookgroove for a Hallowe'en vibe...might be someone else on as well that evening, we'll let you know...

All things are 3 sheets and they kick off at 7.00 each Sunday, Upstairs,International bar.

Hello, (Is that an acceptable form of address ?)

Looks like Donnacha Costello(e) from D1 recordings will be playing this Sunday (14th) @ de Bird - he's also lauching an album's worth of material round now so it should be great. Paper Cop meanwhile (all-noo improv-pops band featuring our resident DJ and guitar n' keys grappler ,Ferocco) are now to play alongside Rollers/Sparkers on the 28th for de Hallowe'en buzzeen.

Also, Cyclotron, I heard that some of the following bands will be playing Lazybird soon:

- Coxpots
- City gIMPs
- Sauce For the Gandhi
- Sliderobe Voyeur
- Eric and the Cramptons

Could you confirm/deny/elaborate further any of this?

Hoping to import some o' dem jacket bananas from de Dunnes Stores centre, yisssah...

Sauce for the Gandhi really cooked my goose-y last time - hope they turn up for the Xmas special.

As soon as The City gIMPSs get their missing bag back from Dublin bu(tt)s, then they're available too.

Eric and the Cramptons played a bad-ass double-header with Isle of Man's finest - (Nelson and the Lorks) in the Duke of Puke recently - even dragged out Pater Flampton on guitar for one track....
