I think everyone had that Lawnmower Deth/Metal Duck album at one stage

which is pretty strange, why was it so popular?

I'd say me xknifedx might still have it ...towards the back of the pile

In fairness, 'I got the clap and me knob fell off' and 'Watch out Grandma here comes the lawnmower, gonna rip your face off' is pretty funny to a teenager. It's pretty funny to me now.

Did this record come out around the time of the Arena documentary on metal or something ? WereLawnmower Deth in it?

I'm trying to figure out why such a small band were so popular, even in the wilds of Donegal.

No they weren't in that arena.

they were part of the small uk thrash scene along with Acid Reign, Xentrix and the like who were known in every part of ireland because they'd play McGonigals every few months.

But I'm wondering how me and my mates got to hear them- two of them had the record

I cant figure out where /how we found out about them- we'd never been to any gigs at that stage

Someone tell me how I first heard about them please

Nice one

Never liked them, the only record by them I have although it's probably long been purged was the Kids In America 12",don't think it was ever played.
