thanks a million for the gig, i really enjoyed playing.
it was a little too hot up there for sleeves i think.
the mound sounded great, too, one of their best ever gigs i would say.

Definately our longest gig ever ... 22 songs ... phew! Thanks to all the people who showed up ... 150ish punters! Thanks to the people who bought me pints. I think our next gig in Dublin will be Saturday September 18th in the Green Lizard. The album should be one sale (in Road at least) tomorrow .....

is that the same guy from the black eyes gig? he did a great job with the sound but i remember he seemed really angry... i was scared and all.

yea, he is sort of kranky but totally makes up for it. I've never heard a "1st on" band sound so good.
one of the things people were saying to me the other night was that you could hear anthony singing. the last few times we've done whelans he's been doing sound and he always spends time making sure moundsingin' cuts through. same with easpa measa, you could hear both singers perfectly.

Monster of a drum sound on the ablum... an untamed bleedin monster!
the gig was all right i spose

Afrementioned album is now for sale in Road, Freebird, Citydiscs, and Spindizzy. Can also of course be bought from www.roadrecs.com
