"The German TV station WDR will start broadcasting a new documentary series dedicated to krautrock, beginning with 3 February 2006. The series, which have taken one year of work, is divided in six parts of one hour each and it features the history of German pop and rock music of the 60's and 70's. For this unique documentary work, the station has recovered rare films and unknown footage from the 60's and 70's, including some of the most important appearances from the 70's music TV show "Rockpalast". The series cover all the different music styles under the wing of the "krautrock" banner, such as electronic rock, cosmic music, avant-garde and psychedelic music, and feature footage from artists such as Can, Neu!, Amon Duul and Tangerine Dream, as well as recent interviews to the artists.
