Here, has anyone made a DIY tattoo machine before? Like when you get a walkman or something and attach a needle to the gears? Is it difficult/effective? I imagine it would save a lot of time instead of filling in big spaces by hand, but does a lot of the ink fall out in the following weeks/months/years, more so than if you do it by hand? What about making clusters of needles, has anyone tried this, how did it work?
