What is Blackwater like? All I know is it's the tidy town of Wexford. Does that= boring? A friend of mine is moving there. Is Crossabeg any use?

Wexford appears to be a jolly rural backwater, peopled by old-skool ravers who've settled down to a regular life of binge-drinking and bookie-heckling, but it has a very odd undercurrent of death-metal inspired pet-torching and the like. It's also got an Opera Festival every October, frequented by people who buy their food in a "Farmers' Market" every Sunday and dream of appearing in house and home magazine. Still, couple more years of Global warming and you'll be able to grow a vineyard...

my better half is from wexford town. depending on who you talk to wexford town is 'full of knackers' or a pretty, fairly cosmopolitan county town. i like it and would have no problem living there. mad accent.
