Iron Hearse from Swindon in the UK are coming to Ireland for a quick tour at the end of this month. These guys arent of the crushing doom variety like the bands I had for Doom101 but instead go for a more classic heavy metal doomy sound drawing comparisons to the obsessed, spirit caravan, church of misery and influences from older classic bands like Black Sabbath, St Vitus and so forth. I have put a bunch of tracks on line at the links below so you can check them out

Captain Insano will be making a return to playing live on this night also airing some new tracks they have written over the summer prior to a promised trip to the studio later in the year plus Im sure there will be plenty of the older classics such as Buckfast aired on the night

Im shit at genre classification, suffice to say, huge stoner sludgy riffinh, screamed vocals a la Raging speedhorn and their new tracks are far more metal than previous stuff, ill be putting some of their mp3's online later on, ya can check for yourself then

Leo I'd already discussed this with Doomschmoker and with this Friday lineup I think it's a must. Would you be able to bring one of this cameras up or can you not be fucked? A DVD of this Houdini gig could be the boot of the decade.

I wouldn't mind filming the WOTH set for a wee project.
