Nationalism is a construct yo. So all of the above are true to some extent.

It'll be interesting to see what "irishness" becomes over the next few years. We were used to being poor, oppressed and sound for a long time. Then we had a few years of being hopeful, savvy and boisterous there. Now we have neither generalisation to rely on.
