There's already a ton of websites out there where you can read "reviews" and "previews" and "interviews" with PR chumps. How's about a site that absolutely hammers any game that's not making the most of the hardware we've splashed so much cash on - without being up it's own arse like Edge.

I recently overheard a representative of [HARDWARE COMPANY X] give [GAMESBLOG Y] a severe bollocking over the phone, threatening to sic the lawdogs on them if they published "anything damaging to our business".

I mention this by way of encouraging such publishing, of course.

You're a knob.

so who's going to be editor?
will you divvy up the games by genre or will there be crossover so fans can see how their favourite reviewer (this will happen, and it'll get nasty too) compares in their review - a cannon and ball/ alias smith and jones routine if you will

this ia a great idea goys. It's not so hard to register an .ie domain but you do need to jump through a few hoops and it is possible to get a non commercial one. You need to justify why you want it and what the function of the site will be, apart from that it should be ok. But ie domains are expensive - over a 100 quid. That's the other drawback.

If you drive traffic and get clever with affiliate marketing there is no reason why you shouldn't make a few quid out of it, at least enough to cover your costs.
