You all gotta read this - too good to be left lying at the end of a near dead Things thread:

"IMMIGRATION: Why nothing is black and white"

My favourite bit is "Ireland's 'own brand' of staring racism".
What a class paper.

as opposed to the " 'Ireland's Own' brand " i suppose - another classy paper. seriously, i wouldn't wipe my arse with that rag, but it'll never be as bad as when cathal dervan was at the helm - where is that scurvy little fuckwit these days does anyone know?

i thought this bit was funny though: "I order a coffee and the lady mimes my options: "Cup or mug?" The assumption that one's English language skills are poor, is less sinister than the staring, but still somewhat patronising."
- the way she switches from "my" to "one's" for the only time in the article, to emphasise how great her "English language skills" are.
alright, so i'm easily amused.
