Just finished Silent Hill 2 - amazing game. Gonna have to play it again.
Gonna start Resident Evil 4 tonight.

Any other good horror games for ps2????

I could go looking around games forums but they're far too insane for me.

Silent Hill 2 is such a great game. My girlfriend dressed as a zombie nurse for halloween. I wanted to go as pyramid head, but figured that noone would get the reference.

Silent Hill 4 is scary too, but way different to the other ones. Silent Hill 3 is just scary-frantic.

Other killer scary PS2 games are:
The Thing (well, a little scary)
Alone in the Dark 4 (Not particularly scary at all)
Project Zero. The first one is incredible and probably scarier than Silent Hill 2. Less bonkers though.
Forbidden Siren (Wanky as it sounds, the japanese original was way better, the dodgy voice acting in the western release ruins the game). Forbidden Siren 2 is coming out soon and looks fantastic!
And er... Gregory Horror Show?

I'm currently playing haunting ground. Not the best horror game I've played. Keep expecting the benny hill music to kick in every time the big oaf chases the main character.

I don't know if it exactly fits into the horror genre but I really liked Fahrenheit. Good story (falls apart a little at the end) and great atmosphere. If you can pick it up cheap I think you might enjoy it.
RE4 rocked like a bastard.

After the slow weirdness of Silent hill I'm finding RE4 a bit mental.

Konami has confirmed to Eurogamer that a new compilation titled The Silent Hill Collection is coming to Europe as well as the US.
It'll include Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4: The Room - but not the original PSone game. There's no word on a Euro release date as yet, but over in the States it's launching to coincide with the Silent Hill movie, which hits US cinemas on April 13th.

The film will be released in the UK on April 25th, so it's likely The Silent Hill Collection will go on sale some time around then.

actually found a copy of the first silent hill up in my attic at home.. am starting to play it again this week.. i can safely say it's the most enjoyable game i've ever played in my life!
love the amthosphere..and those ghost babies are deadly!!
playing it at 2 in the morning when i was first attacked by a ghost baby in the school..i was like arghghghghghg what the fuck was that!!
